• Community VCAL allows young people to complete work and develop skills in areas of interest to them. They can obtain direct experience in business and industry, developing skills and attitudes required in the workplace.
• Combine practical learning with studies.
• Work Placement, Job Preparation, Apprenticeships and Traineeships through Group Training.

LINK Employment and Training, in partnership with Lyndale Secondary College and the City of Greater Dandenong, is offering a themed Community VCAL in the Dandenong region, commencing early February 2008.

The industry areas are:

• Hospitality
• Building & Construction
• Automotive

All students enrolled will have a passion to succeed without being in a school environment. VET training will be provided and work placement arranged.

Outcomes for the student will be a successful completion of VCAL, providing a pathway to an apprenticeship, traineeship or employment.
An information session will be conducted and an interview process will take place.
