Skills Stores are responsible for delivering a free professional advisory service about training options to individuals, utilizing Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), an interview process and assistance to clients. LINK delivers this free service within the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne funded by the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD) through the Office of Training and Tertiary Education (OTTE).

South East Skills Store is a Victorian Government initiative that will enable all Victorians to have their skills and experience formally recognized. It provides a pathway for your staff to formalize their skills and gain a valuable qualification. Involving an initial, free, preliminary assessment with the Skills Store consultant, your worker will then be referred on to a registered training organization. The RTO will then make a full assessment based on available evidence and advise on the most appropriate avenue for your staff member to pursue and their fees and charges. A grant of $250.00 will be made to the RTO on completion of the assessment.

South East Skills Store offer a mobile service where the assessment can take place in your workplace. We are located in Dandenong and Frankston with sites in Cranbourne, Pakenham, Narre Warren, Mornington, Rosebud and Hastings.
