What is an Australian School Based Apprenticeship?

Australian School Based Apprenticeships (ASBA) allow you to work as a paid part-time trainee or apprentice whilst completing your secondary education at school.

ASBAs are a great option if you wish to enter the workforce and remain at school. The program offers you the chance to get a head start in the industry you choose whilst completing the last two or three years of your education.

ASBAs are available in industries such as Engineering, Automotive, Horticulture, Hospitality, Business Administration, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Retail, Warehousing and Logistics.

  • A certificate that is recognised all over Australia.
  • Start working (and get paid for it) while still at school.
