Matter Machar has achieved an awards trifecta.
After winning the Victorian Trainee of the year and the Australian Trainee of the year Matter has now been awarded the 2009 Greater Dandenong Chamber of Commerce Youth Enterprise Award. Matter began volunteering with the City of Greater Dandenong's youth services. "I couldn't find a job, so I thought working with young people would be a good thing to get into," he said. It was through this that Matter Machar was offered a traineeship through LINK Employment & Training in youth work and protective care hosted by the City of Greater Dandenong.
